Sure seems like it.

It doesn't matter why. Whether he or she got hinky, had buyers remorse, whatever. To change the deal is not cool unless there were extenuating circumstances and those circumstances were shared with the seller.

If the buyer had suffered an accident, or a substantial unexpected repair to something, and communicated it to the seller with honesty and regret, I don't think the OP would do anything other than repost the sale.

Not scumbaggery, but not very nice.

The loss of potential other interested parties, and the lost personal time spent on this deal is definitely a frustrating situation.  I think it happens alot here and some people jsut don't say anything.  I have had 3 people back out of deals with me and with the latest one, I had no reservations about leaving a negative comment for that guy.

I also love when someone is ISO some cigars, and you respond. Then you get no repsonse back at all.....a simple no thanks, I already found some, or your price is too high would be nice.

That seems to be alot to ask around here. Oh well, another for the mental list.

I love it when someone asks for certain cigars, you contact him, he says great do you have anything else, you respond, a week goes by, you contact him again and he says things got hairy and he will send $$ Monday, you send the cigars to him on mondaynand then he says that he can find them cheaper elsewhere and that unless u agree to his lower price he does not want them...wouldn't it be nice if the stock market worked that way. Buy have something held to see if you can get it cheaper and then back out of original deal?

For what it's worth, I told the asshole to send my sticks back and that we are done. Same guy Todd had issues with previously. 15 years to get a good reputation, 15 minutes to lose it. He is done in my book.

I had been meaning to bring this up for quite some time. Is this habbit a trend or a standard? Todd is in his right to leave a negative comment as the person needs to follow through and stick to his word. Recently, I have been getting similar actions a few times a week. Don't feel like bashing newbies, wanna give them a chance. Most of you a right though, after two weeks their just stalling for another deal. The funny thing about this is that the trade usually stinks from the start. John

Mike and I have both tried to deal with another member here who cannot make up his mind or complete any deals, and he is always hunting htf stuff.  To date, I don't think any bad feedback has been left for him, but I was real close.  Making me dig for things and send an inventory, and price single sticks out, for him to not even respond to my PM, then back out of any deal in the end, was not apreciated and just a mere waste of my time.  Apparently, the same thing happened to Mike.  Just like most peope, I consider my time valuable, and I don't need anyone wasting it.
