So to my question,
If someone contacts you on a listing and agrees to terms, then after two weeks and the day payment is due sends you an email stating....
"Hello, I would feel most comfortable doing one box at a time as I don't want to get burned for 2gs. Perhaps we can do the 2010 first. XXXXX"
Do you tell him deals off as he basically called your credibility questionable?
Not really how I generally do things, but his email pissed me off...
Thoughts?
General "we have a deal" question....

No, you tell him deals off because HIS credibility is questionable.

James, you are a Gold Supporter here with tons of great feedback, your reputation or credibility should not be a question at all... sounds like someone is lacking the funds to complete the deal you guys made.

I believe Tripleligero was a good supporter of this site with many positive feedbacks as well.
Always tough to spend a big nut with someone you completely don't know or he just didn't have the total funds at the time.
In terms of calling off the deal, your choice, if you don't mind doing the deal piece meal then go forward if you really wanted to do it all at once call it off.
In either case you should not feel slighted. Just my 2cents.

He's the one that is trying to back out of a deal. I would simply reply that we agreed to a deal. If you would've said something right away we probably could've worked something out, but it's been 2 weeks.
If he can't stick to a deal, he's the one with credibility issues... and probably can't pay in full as he hoped.
You have every right to tell him where to go and move on. Your choice.

Thats the first thing I thought when I read the comment above yours. Unfortunately TL really damaged this board. That being said no payment after two weeks is a concern to me. I make it a habit to pay as soon as a deal is completed as do most people on here. You might just want to call it off. If you don't have it after two weeks when are you going to get it?

Re: General "we have a deal" question....
If two parties agree to the terms of the deal, and two weeks later someone wants to change the terms, they lack credibility.
It is not like he got hinky a day or two later. It was two weeks!

And you're out two weeks time it could have been sold.
