Like any item, some are rare and some are common. Seems it may have sold for $200 in 1995 but in limited quantity. And so the price went through the roof. All comes down to it it genuine or not. Provenance is key and sounds like Leo has the goods.

Seems to me that after a few days, there might be a price reduction "bump", and the original FS thread has no follow-up posts that I know of yet... if that bump happens, and a price reduction occurs, or even a sale from the original post occurs, that will be a good indicator as to whether this was a joke or not.

Excuse me ? I'm not exactly sure who you think you are, or who told you that you might get away with [u]ORDERING[/u] me not to question something/someone. Either way, you are both mistaken. I'm also not sure about language restrictions in the BZ, but the most polite response I can come up with is...Fuck You :)

I wondered where leo was coming from with his comment in the OP about the BZ...it sounded like a threat. I also honestly assumed that $4000 for a 50cab of Fundadores was either a typo or a joke. I really couldn't care less if leo sells the cigars, or what price he sells them at....I explained my position on that above. But he's not going to dictate what threads are started in the BZ, and you sure as hell aren't going to dictate what questions I ask.

Well, since the prices are so high in Canada, and some of these seem to be in line with fair market value for these offerings, maybe the original poster should change the title to:  "for Canadians only"...so CB can buy them all.  :angl:
