"That said, regardless of what you think of the cigars, are you not the least bit concerned that TL has misrepresented himself? Or at all concerned that he is strongly tied to a known purveyor of fake Cuban cigars?"
again....show me the proof that he is not who he says he is.
show me evidence that he has ties to a known purveyor of fake cuban cigars. What is the name of this purveyor.

Tom, i like you.. i think you need to take a serious look at the big picture here.. You spent nearly 2k for something (which wasnt what it was professed to be) by somebody who was kind to you because he was selling you cigars in a friendly manner (name me a counterfeiter who is rude and abbrasive).
If this turns out to be CigarAsh, and it just might be, then my advice is to apologize for making a human error and SEPERATE yourself as far as you can. Knowing there was/is a problem is the first and most important step to the solution..

"Don't you think that is important? If he is misrepresenting himself, it would make sense he is also misrepresenting his cigars."
what's in a name anyway?
I don't believe the cigars to be fake.
So you think he has unlimited access to cigars that even folks like Mitchell Orchant have stated are simply not available to anyone in quantity?
You've been around the block a few times, I'm surprised you are so cavalier regarding the the authenticity of these cigars.
Cuban cigars are amongst the most counterfeited items on the planet; there is a reason why people are so concerned about provenance and trustworthy vendors. Emphasis on trust.
I'm simply never buying a highly counterfeited item from someone who is clearly not telling the truth about a great many things.
Not to mention the fact that even if a highly trusted, regarded source would be raising some serious eyebrows if they had the type of quantity of cigars TL is purporting to have available.
But yeah, I guess some random guy in LA who has not told the truth about his identity, has never been to Cuba, and is likely to be the same person a known purveyor of fake Cuban cigars has better connections in Cuba than respected shops who have done business with Cuba for decades.
Because he can get this stuff, and the respected, established, long-term businesses cannot.
It really boggles the mind that this could be rationalized. imho.

This has all been shown fairly conclusively, but a number of people, not just myself. I'm not sure what to say, other than to re-read the existing threads.
TL has a email and PP address... he is NOT Rowby Goren the comedy writer. He DID respresent himself as said comedy writer to a number of folks here via PM, beyond the obvious association of his email address.
The address that http://www.rowbygoren.com/ is registered to is the address of the Cigar-a-Rama cigar shop in LA. Which is owned by Rama Morovati, who is "CigarAsh" on ICC, a known purveyor of fakes.
And there is more, much more. I won't repeat it here, it is all contained in the threads here.

Moki, I beg you to please stop muddying the waters with facts. Stick to hopes, dreams, and fantasies.

Re: The facts as I see them....
Tom haven't you read anything in this thread? There are some incredibly valid details and facts that have been brought to the mat and TL will not engage and continues to dance away. And yet you keep defending, so I wonder if you have read anything here? Or are you just pissed that you spent $2K and refuse to accept that as you got scammed, someone that's been around for a LONG time. I'm a relative noob but the BS this guy was spouting from day one was crazy and you with all those friggin bananas made me wonder how you have been in this game for so long, c'mon.
