Are you simply compulsive or just stupid? Seriously... what is the point in buying a ton of cigars that you will never smoke? Obviously to flip. Backpeddle all you want, we see right through it. Carry on. Hey Scott  :nana:

btw, Carp69's a great guy.  We've become pretty cool on and off here on OLH.  Funny part is that he's bought from me immediately after all the drama.  Like JimmPA mentioned, another awesome BOTL and guy to deal with; buy if you want, don't if you don't want to.

And like I said, sometimes I get deals here, but 99% of the time, I don't.  I just bought a few Opus Double-Robustos for around $20+/each after taxes again at the Tinder Box in OC/LA area, some Power Rangers for $17+/each at Vintage Cigars in the OC, and a few other sticks.  And that's the cheapest I'll ever find them for sale (unless on here).

PLEASE let me know if anyone has Opus' or other cigars for under or even at MSRP, and I'll be more than happy to split boxes/packs or whatever at the prices I buy them at.  But I have a compulsive nature when it comes to cigars, so I'll pay whatever I need to to get them. Then sometimes I'll sell some off for one reason or another.  I deal with a lot of people off-line, referred to me, and they're more than happy with what I have to offer them.   ???

Everybody has impulse buys, especially when they're right in front of you to check out and/or buy. It's "instant gratification", compared to searching/waiting/making a post for a few random cigars that I would have to think of wanting to buy and know I shouldn't buy; rather than just buying some nice cigars I see right in front of me.

Plus, it seems like a lot of people lie about what they're selling these days.  The last two deals i had here for some Liga "A" set and a box of '11 TAA said they either came with the coffin-packaging, but didn't.  Said they were a sealed box, but everything was open, including the ripped-open foil paper inside the box.  So its also nice to be able I examine a cigar, construction, foot, and etc..  But of course the catch is the higher price and mark-up/Taxes.

I'm sure not everyone is the same way, but I have an addictive personality and buy way too many cigars for my own good, all the time.  For example, I've probably owned about 30-40 BBMF Maduros/Naturals in the past couple of years, paying the marked-up prices, but still have never tried one, EVER.  I still have a lot left, and I will light a couple up one day, hopefully, but I think its more of a "I can't get it, so I'll do whatever it takes to get it" type of mentality; as a collector, and pay the high prices, or sometimes sell at a loss especially after shipping/packaging/insuring/etc.

Theres a smokeshop I always hangout at with the employees every so often, so we end up talking, and I end up buying whenever they get/have new Opus/Fuentes/etc. in, even though they are taxed/marked-up/etc..  Same goes with Josh at TampaSweethearts.  He's an awesome guy to deal with, so I'll buy some things from him like single-coffins and some packs of other more readily available cigars when their email blasts pop-up.  Even though I do smoke 2-3 cigars a day, plus I collect, but I overbuy/overpay all the time and kick myself in the ass for it.  But at the end of the day, its not a life-or-death situation, so I take it for what it is and deal with it.  I try to sell them if I really don't want them, or I just keep them if I do.  That's it.

If all types of Opus' were available at under or just at MSRP, I'd be a happy man and not accused all the time, but I buy special sizes/releases for FULL/marked-up prices.  Unless I get lucky here before someone else snatches them up (which usually happens). So if someone wants them for what I bought then at or less, with free shipping, then they'll buy it.  If not, they won't.  Isn't that how this site is supposed to work?  I'm not taking "best offers" on the side or anything (as somebody asked, but I think I already addressed that).  I've actually tried to stay away from here because of all the stupid drama, but lurk once-in-awhile to see what's out there.  Moved on to a couple of other places where you can post, then people buy or not, and not get slack for having higher prices than others and accused of ripping people off when they don't know how much I paid to begin with.

And no.  I didn't miss you. Didn't know you were even gone.  But, I'm glad you were thinking of me enough to post again to stir-up-the-pot a little.  =). Say "hi" to R***y out in Corona, CA, for me.  You can even ask him about my "compulsiveness" and how I am about cigars.  He always tells me to stay off those stupid boards, so I have been for the most part. Not worth having to explain myself over and over and over again, when you and 99% of the people here know NOTHING about me or know me personally.  The other 1% woukd be the bappy buyers/sellers I've dealt with and then the people like you that make assumptions when we've even death with each other.  ??.

Quick question, when you guys sell on here, do you make a profit in anyway?  I would assume so, correct?  So why all the crap for someone who doesn't and mostly loses some money?  It's not the end of the world if someone loses money selling if they don't mind doing so.  Yes, my prices will be higher at times, but lower at others. That's just called business/commerce.  Sometimes you pay for your mistakes and lose money.  That's the nature of buying/selling.  I don't need to worry about making money here or losing some.  I have a good job, investments, and don't need to worry about a few bucks and make a huge deal about it when someone else does like some people.  I don't see anyone here bitching about Casa Fuente's prices.  It's just another cigar shop that pays rent like any other B&M (I'm sure the cost of rent has to do with it, but a store like that is for exposure, not solely based on sales.)  There's better stuff/prices on here.  Why doesn't anybody send them some emails, phone calls, and etc. rather than drag on a thread forever when I'm probably one of the only honest guys on this board.  Maybe I'll start including receipts to shut everyone up whenever I sell something, or list the price I paid and who I bought them from.

If you don't like what I post, then don't buy it, like others have mentioned.  If I wanted to rip people off, I'd never sell anything because the difference in prices I pay at times and that someone else does in another state or pays at/under MSRP will obviously have the better deal (unless the buyer is compulsive/addictive like I am.)

Only reason I saw this was because a  BOTL I met here let me know about some comments being made AGAIN. THAT bored, huh?

Anyways, have a good one Scott.  Glad you're back!!!!!!!!!!!!  You to AK2000!!!

Well we didnt deal with each other because you didnt respond when i emailed you a price for a box of Sharks you were looking for (many moons ago) that was about $50 lower than what you claim to pay (to justify your prices). it was exactly what I paid (MSRP plus local taxes and had the receipt back then too). You are all talk and full of shit or the dumbest person on this site.

Nice to be back, and happy that this place has some great guys sticking around and then the BS artists like yourself for entertainment purposes.
