Looks crazy. I'm more of a cruiser kinda guy. How did you do in the race?  ;)

It wasn't a race, it was a track school. Actually my first time on track, huge fun!

My favorite bike is still my FXDWG, but I could see myself becoming a track junkie.

Nice Wade!  Sail boats, track bikes, it must be nice!

The original FXWG was an instant classic.  I've always viewed the "D" version as something of an imitation, though I suppose that's what they were going for with the whole "D" line anyway.  Much the way the Softail line imitates the old hardtails of yesteryear.

Riding the Harley for hours just going down the road is great, it is a zen kind of thing just being in the world.  Grabbin' all the throttle you have the skill to handle with no regard for speed limits is a whole 'nother animal.  That is on demand adrenalin shots.

I rarely had the opportunity to look at the speedo on the track, but on the front straight I did manage to break 111 or so before I had to get on the binders for turn 1.
