I have been spending a little more time looking around, being so new here I do not know who to trust in the sale threads and I noticed a whole bunch of buyers and sellers without quarters.
I am posting this here because I will probably get shit for asking but what gives, how many U.S. based boards can you buy Cubans from.
How come you who do not donate choose to not do it?
Thanks
Dave

One more of those spinning quarters coming soon. This site really does provide the opportunity to get some HTF smokes that I wouldn't be able to otherwise.

Thanks Trent It was nice chatting with you!
Didn't expect many replies from the people who make money but don't donate. :gotcha:

Here is the amazing thing I have never sold anything on here yet. I only have been able to trade and buy as I am growing my collection(I am trying to get Tripleligero to adopt me but to no avail as of yet). Yet you see these guys selling and making money all day long with out doing a thing. So watch as they don't answer a thing on here.
Cheers

Why pay $100 on a therapy session when you can spend $25 on a cigar? Whatever it is will come back; so what, smoke another one.

Thanks Trevor
That is the reason for this post, I find value just as a buyer. I am stumbling in trying to figure out the good guy's versus the bad guy's so I haven't bought much.
I have asked a couple people for help that have been around. just to many questionable s for a newbie in the HTF market for me to just gamble!
I have been reading till my eye's are blurry and most everyone is new to me. I am only on a few boards and know a few people but I see some pretty amazing stuff for sale. I am interested though figuring out what is to high a price is very hard.
Come on people if you sell and use the site tell us why you don't donate?

Dave, Wade took over OLH from a previous brother, so I donate to help out Wade. Keep up the great work Wade.

Hi Gee-Man
I can tell by how at the end of so many posts Thanking Wade that he is the owner and a very well liked man. I appreciate the info, I may be just stirring the pot but not really. I tend to like understanding things and I don't get how people can sell hundreds if not Thousands of Dollars worth of stuff and justify not contributing to the site that makes that possible!
I mean try that at Pay P it doesn't calculate out is all, and in asking these questions I'm meeting people and learning stuff at the same time.
In my small world I have never gotten anything for free and those here who are taking advantage should IMHO be ashamed of themselves.
Also it is a topic that is pretty hard to defend so I may not be attacked quite so hard as other topics might be. :bait:
Thanks and nice to meet you!
Dave
Edited to add?
Hey I know generalizing and assuming is not the smartest move, but would it be safer to say assume those who are selling cigars, donated and been here more than a few moths be safe or safer to buy from?

Re: Why are there not more quarters spinning around?
Smelvis, I think your question about those who donate is a good one, and I wonder about it myself. There are plenty of folks who repeatedly post FS threads in the TSBC and don't have a spinning coin. Like TNT, I have no sales on record, and I have been guilty of purchasing from apparent non-donors; but I do like the idea of supporting Wade's site myself because I'm having fun, and it seems like the right thing to do. So far as trusting goes, I don't think you can ever really know somebody is a scumbag until they make their play. If someone is respected here and at CF, then I have no hesitation in dealing with them. I could still get screwed over, but I think the chances are low, and the benefits of meeting and dealing with honest people, even if just online, makes it all worthwhile.
