Quick Poll #2

Post by trigger14 »

Here's the situation:

I won an auction (wensy.com) for 15 + 5 bonus sticks valued at $150, shipping at 9.50 with no indications of how the shipping would take place - whether PM with or w/o DC. At $9.50, I made the assumption that $9.50 was clearly enough to include DC and was an indication to me that shipping would include DC.

This deal was sweetened via an email exchange with the seller, and total value came in at $284 that included $14.50 for shipping (the offer said: "I'll add on $5 and won't charge you more for shipping"(?)).

Parcel never arrived and seller has indicated he's not interested in making it right. Essentially his agrument is: "it is the buyer's responsibility to ask for DC - too bad."

What would you do when you know you have no final recourse? Suck it up, out the guy, what?

Not wanting to start something political here - just gauging BOTL response.

Thanks All!

The interesting part will be to see how many other people have had experiences with the other party.
