Good Surgeons

Post by Hiroshiro »

I'm still looking for a doctor who is willing to take a crack at the tumor on my forehead. I've reached out to many but it just seems like no one is confident in their skills. had a couple say I can try but if something goes wrong its on me. Well if something goes wrong I'm dead so yea on me. I'm out here on the west coast but willing to travel for help.
Thanks everyone in advanced

Not sure where to point you as there are lots of factors in play here, but have you tried some of the teaching hospitals. Cleveland Clinic, John’s Hopkins, there are some good people in Pittsburgh hospital also but it depends on what and where it is.

Checking around may be your best option, what are doctors familiar with your situation and health telling you? Have you asked them for other options?

I hope it works out for you whatever you decide to do.

I would say John Hopkins in Baltimore would be your best bet.

Fuck that's rough.  Has the tumor been biopsied to determine the type?  For example, melanoma, basal cell, or squamous cell carcinomas are types of skin cancer.  Other types are Merkel or sebaceous gland carcinomas.

I'm shocked that you cannot find a surgeon.  That's very odd.

LMK what's up.  I'm in pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Industry.  Maybe I can help.

Prayers sent.

Man, thats tough news, sorry.

I know very little, just ask everyone here, but if I was looking at this situation, I'd go to UCSD Hospital here in San Diego.  Its a leading-edge teaching hospital, so they employ the best everything.

My best buddy had Lupas (not that I'm comparing it to your situation) BUT he stated he was at wits end with no help anywhere and went to UCSD Hospital SD, and they did "miracles.'

Just my $0.02....

Sorry to hear that. It sounds like you're looking for a surgeon on here. Are you a member on FOH? I think there is a surgeon on there. Not sure what type of surgeon, but maybe he could at least point you in the right direction. Best of luck to you!
