If you do, I posted my recipe over in Wade's Bar and Grill.

Made 4 gallons this year.  Between Thanksgiving, my thirst, and gifts to coworkers, I'm sitting at a gallon and a half left.  Thanks for sharing.  Have you ever tried bumping up the proof?

The beauty of this recipe is that the alcohol hides very well. I've had old ladies ask me whether there's any alcohol in the drink...

The actual proof is around 11.7% ABV when following the recipe.

I want to know more about what Dane was doing with a bunch of old ladies? :D
My generation had Wonder Woman. The current generation has to wonder if it really is a woman.

It's really, really good and impresses everyone who tries it.  I've been billing it as a drinkable dessert for toothless alcoholics.  I and my cohorts can definitely taste the spirits in it, but it blends well with everything else and it doesn't make anyone wrinkle their nose up at the proof.  I'm curious as to the flavor if I brought up abv to around 20%, so I'm going to do some calcs and see how much of the bourbon/Brandy/rum trinity I need to add to a quart to get it there.  I suspect it won't taste quite as elegant, but shouldn't be overly boozy, either.

It's great to have a cup or 2 of, but quaffing a quart myself over the course of, say, Thanksgiving, definitely adds some GI gurgles from the dairy, eggs, and sugar.  Ask me how I know.
