Back in the late 90's our grandmother (who was then 98 YO) called us cause she was sure Ed McMahon was going to give her $20M and we had to help her buy a magazine subscription and send all her info to Publishers Clearing House.  The envelope said "One of the three people below has already won $20M" and her name was one of the three names on the envelope.  We felt sorry for her excitement, but eventually she realized the scam.

I remember thinking then  "I wonder what scams we'll get sent to us when we're older."

Now with the internet the number of scams has increased quite a bit, and I still have that same thought.

The future, as it has always been, is going to be both wonderful and terrible.

COVID-19 has given the scammers of the world alot of time to create new ways of screwing us legit folks. Package mule, who would have ever thought?!?  I have heard of being someone's bitch, but I don't ever want to be a scammer's mule either.
