Seneca King scammed me.

Post by shadowcam »

Oh boy. Talk about finding the long standing member then being his first scam. Ouch. I bought Seneca King's wine, I figured it would be some good anniversary bottles to share with the Missis. He said he was going to ship on Thursday and I asked for shipping info on that day. No response. The last four days I've been asking for a response and I didn't get a peep. I have a login for for the USPS, UPS and FedEx sites so I see when someone creates a label for a shipment going to my house. He hasn't done it. Live and learn, frustrating but I just wanted to let you guys know that he is a scammer.

There's gotta be an explanation. Dude sells tons of shit. To scam someone over a bottle of wine doesn't make sense.

Edit. He hasn't logged in for 4 days here. So I'd honestly say there's a good explanation. Give it a few more days.

I hear you. It's not difficult to say that he had an emergency though. Money is in his pocket, he has to take initiative to tell me of a delay.

I just got Caymus from him last month. Not making excuses for him but I’d be a little more patient.  The label was printed for me a few days before it shipped too

Definitely not scamming or ghosting. Had the kids this weekend, running 3 businesses.  Wasn't checking this email.  Dang dude.  It's 450$, calm down.  You'll get your stuff.

Edit: actually, I'll be refunding you.  Your attitude and way you've handled this, I don't want to work with you.

Yes. I'll take my refund. I know what a solid trader is and you are not it. The fact I need to create this post just to get a response is telling.

The lesson here is communication is king. Short of a near death experience or a family tragedy, if you're selling stuff, stay in communication. I'd get nervous after 4 days of no communication, I don't care how much feedback is positive. Probably not nervous enough to start a thread over it though.
