Guy just posted a bunch of FS this past week. Bought a 5’er from him…and hadn’t heard from him about shipping so I tried to PM him this morning for an update. Appears ‘member not found’ any longer.

Just putting that out there for others who bought from him. Hoping this is all an accident, but not like he’s a long-standing member here & better safe than sorry to get this info out if he’s really jumped the shark.

Yes, saw the same thing as well. But if you try and message it says ‘member not found’.

Certainly hope I’m wrong to be suspicious here….but not something I’ve seen before.

Ive known Harvey for a while now and I have been doing deals with him before he got onto OLH.

How much time passed between you sending money and you making this post? What was the expectation set for comm times/shipping?

I talk to him off site every single day and I can tell you, from my experience, that he will go radio silent for good chunks of time while he is at work because he simply cannot be on his phone/personal computer.

I personally don't really start raising alarms until someone hasn't gotten back to me in a few days without specifically telling me that there is going to be a delay. Perhaps we jumped the gun a little quickly on this one?

As for the flurry of buy/sell posts from Harvey, he really just got into the collecting aspect of this recently and is in the process of building his collection, I know I did the same thing when I got to OLH the first time and as my collection stabilized, so did my ISO/WTS posts.

I thought about contacting him about some of the sticks he had for sale and noticed that the sticks he was selling it appeared he had just gotten them via an ISO. Thought that was kind of odd that you'd buy all kinds of sticks and turn right around and sell them so I passed.

Hope everything is alright with the purchases.

I just talked to Harvey and he said he emailed who he could with their tracking information but until he gets back to his account here, he cant cross reference all of the packages he just dropped off.

The expectation is when I buy something, they’re still an active member when awaiting goods. Lofty expectations I know  :cal:

I also emailed him earlier. And checked before posting this. No tracking info.

I’ll gladly shut this thread down if everything ends out on the up and up. This was the best place to post the issue. Not flaming here whatsoever. Just inquiring…

Ironic to see this...I noticed him selling stuff here. Didn't think anything of it. Then I saw him trying to sell stuff on reddit. Didn't think anything of it.  Last night I received a message from a reddit member saying Harvey ripped him off. I hadn't said anything here because I asked for more info and got no response. But..he reached out to me on reddit and absolutly blew up on me because he was kicked from a group for trying to sell stuff and also giving out personal information publically. Seemed like a pretty odd dude.

He was worried about me ripping people off. I told him to look at my feedback. He got pretty nasty and made threats towards me and said he would find me bla bla bla...weird dude
