Hey Gang! I've been a lurker for a little while via other members, but was too lazy to sign up until recently, :rotf: Then I got so caught up looking around that I forgot to post an into thread!
Anyway, I recently moved to Asia (wife's in the Air Force) for a 3-year-tour. Still getting settled, kinda crazy. You can buy Cubans here, which is cool, but it's government-regulated and hyper-taxed: $38 for a Cohiba Siglo IV Tubo, $19 for a PSD4, I think a Monte #2 was about $25 ... so yea, I won't be buying much in the shops here :gotcha: Very cool country, though.
I've been smoking stogies since I was 18, but only in the last 3 years have I started smoking real regularly and massing a collection. I've been a Tat/DPG lover for a while, as well as Illusione, Padron, and Liga Privada. This year I've gotten into LFD, Fuente, and La Aurora more as well. But Cubans are my latest "undiscovered country," and I'm enjoying getting acquainted with these. So far Bolivar is my favorite marca, with Trinidad and Partagas coming next. But I've smoked so few really that I can't say much beyond "liked that one," and "not so much." (The reason I didn't get into Cubans before now was that I've had HORRIBLE luck with construction problems ... like at least 40% of mine have been plugged or explode).
I'm looking forward to making some new friends here! And "hi" to all the guys I already know ... you've finally swayed me to the Dark Side :cal:
