Recently during a political discussion a Republican friend mentioned that “the media has a liberal bias”. It reminded me of the phrase “The truth has a liberal bias”. I decided to explore this concept by reading various articles regarding our president’s recent onslaught of lies to his own troops regarding a mythological two figure pay raise he boasts about having given them.

I’ve concluded that “truth does have a liberal bias”, primarily because Trump consistently lies and/or makes false statements.
Cheers!

Somebody has been sampling that whiskey they got for Christmas 🎄 Nothing like getting a little drunk and trolling a cigar board. 😂
Happy New Year 🎆 everyone, and I guess there’s nothing wrong with starting a little early, if that’s your thing. Stay safe.

Except there are many sources noted, not just a few as would be the case in confirmation bias. I suspect you really don’t understand that term at all and how it is used in statistics...

It is true that Donald Trump is currently the President of the United States. Today I learned that accepting the fact Donald Trump currently holds the office of the President, is having a liberal bias.

And that there makes no sense at all. Thanks...
So far none of you have actually made a comment relevant to this post. Interesting... Maybe it’s because none of you want to face the reality that THE PRESIDENT WAS PERFECTLY COMFORTABLE LYING TO OUR OWN TROOPS!!
Think (if you are able to) of how that plays out when something actually important to the lives of our soldiers is being discussed. He’ll be perfectly comfortable lying again, and again, and again...

ill help you slow it down. It was algebraic
DJT is POTUS = truth
MadDog MCShea said "the [truth] has a liberal bias"
that mk05 guy(assuming gender, i know) simply substituted for [truth]
if that doesn't make sense then your initial quote is a fallacy meaning this whole thread is null
have a nice day.

Obviously one of us doesn't understand statistics or, at least, valid statistics.
You could cite thousands of sources. If your selective process is biased so are your "statistics".
Or more simply, "figures don't lie but liars figure"

So that is the “I know better than you defense” of your ridiculous statement.
The problem with your explanation is that in real statistics (like what doctors use to generate the standards of care) “thousands” of data points that all agree form their own support for a conclusion. Interpretation always matters of course, but when you have that much data the ability to vary interpretation narrows itself.
Hey, FYI, your comment is still not on topic either. If you voted for Trump, and still think the world of him after learning that he’s perfectly comfortable lying to our own troops, then your ability to form a valid conclusion is compromised.
