Over the years i have built up quite a few different jars and things. I was looking at possibly selling some of them to clear some space and most of them i see put up at auction once in a while so i have an idea of what they are worth full but i have absolutely no idea what they are worth empty. I was hoping someone can give me some ideas as to pricing these so i can decide if they are worth selling or not
Cohiba piramide 2000 jar
Partagas p1 jar
LGC deliciosos jar
Bolivar distinguidos jar
Vegas robaina 5th aniversary humidor
Thanks in advance for any info

Re: Value of jars/humidors
A lot of factors come into play here. Condition of the jar (color, fading, chips, scratches, seal of top, etc...), condition of the box, condition of the seals, how they were cut, how they were placed initially, etc...
Have seen empty ones from your list sell between $50-$500

Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.

Re: Value of jars/humidors
Having Jars on display really can spice up the look of a walk in. Even empty ones spice up the look. Nice to have laying around the smoke room as well - same logic.
There is an issue though. There are folks out there looking for empty jars to refill with fakes. Seems like there is more of a cottage industry to make fake cigars than there is to make fake jars.
$ .02
Maybe a surcharge here to create a pool to buy back and destroy empty jars? :)

I have a few jars on display on top of my humidor. Love the way they add to the room.

Re: Value of jars/humidors
Anyone know if there is any market/ anyone here interested in the Viaje 10th anniversary jars? I have the full set with everything they came with minus the cigars of course.
