Question on cigar storage from a Newbie

Post by CigarsAreAwesome17 »

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and still new to the world of cigars in general. I have a humidor I keep at 65/65 and have a question about storing bundled cigars.

How do you guys store stuff that doesn't come in a box?  Outside of a shelf/drawer to keep singles..

Just curious what you use for bulk bundles of 25 or 50...

Is it safe to use these? or something like this?

Any advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Those boxes look nice. A little small at only 8x4x2 but maybe they have larger sizes.

Usually keep old boxes and pack the bundles customs in those (if the sizes match) with a label telling all the details or more recently I just put them in freezer bags and write all the details on the little textured area on the bag where you are supposed to label the food. I leave the bags unzipped so there is air exchange. I tend to smoke mostly customs these days and that works for me. But you do have to be more careful that they don't get bumped around when looking through your storeage.

They will age better in cedar boxes.
