Why would anyone be iso a cc empty box?
I can't think of any legitimate reason to iso a cuban empty box other then for some sort of messed up reasons. Just looking for a reason that gives me hope it is not a scam of some sort when I see this.

I've taken old cabs and empty 3-5 ten count boxes of stuff like royal robustos, Ramon allones superiores, custom rolls, etc.
Some will say cigars age better in wooden cabs vs dress boxes. I've also sent out very old empty boxes but make sure to X out the box code so it can't be used to scam.

One year I got a ton of fresh cc's all in cardboard and I wanted to get them out of cardboard so i dumped them in another cab. I always then label the cab on what's in it with the box code of the new cigars.
I get what you're saying with the ISO but not everyone here is bad or scamming

being ISO of an empty box makes much more sense than looking and asking for old bands and that's happened more than once.

I sometimes will look for boxes to store aged lots I've picked up here and there.
Makes for easier and more organized storage than keeping 10-25 singles loose in a drawer. In fact, I'm looking for an empty Monte Edmundo 10ct right now if anyone has one!

There are still a few vendors out there that ship no box or bands. And some guy's at least want to keep the cigars in the brand and vitola box they are.

Did this with petacas of Sig V's -- transferred them out of the cardboard and into an SLB for storage.

I like using them to keep singles I've collected over time in their appropriate boxes
