HinWhite........

Post by Garbandz »

Said he wanted a 5er,I sent my PP info, and he disappeared.

It took me a couple of days to get a response, then he said he changed his mind.

He has been a member nearly a year, but has not posted, made a thread,or gotten any feedback.

Has anyone else had him commit and then back out?

I do not trust this kind of behavior, and I regret sending my info,in light of the recent scams.

No deals with him. Post negative feedback to his profile alerting other members for future dealings. I would definitely monitor your account here and at paypal for any unusual activity/requests for password resets or the like.

If backing out of a deal warrants negative feedback I should call out a couple of members that do it regularly. I understand being cautious due to the recent scams, just not sure the punishment fits the crime in this case unless other people have had a similar issue with him.

I think getting an email from a seller with pp info and a follow up message 11 minutes later saying he'd moved on to the next for not making payment is far douchier than the countless tire kickers here.

Sometimes I get PMs from accounts which were registered years ago with 0 posts and 0 feedback. Those are sleeper accounts, and I ignore them.

Why do you have to call them out?  Leave feedback and be done with it. Feedback is there for a reason, not just to post happy stuff.

I threatened negative feedback for a guy a few months ago, who backed out of a deal on me (a box, not just a 5er), and the box could have sold 3x over, as I passed on other buyers when he told me he wanted it.  ANyways, when i told him I was leaving neg feedback he about crucified me, and told me he would get revenge, somehow.  I should have posted a BZ comment regarding the user here, but I am in drama avoidance mode right now with me being unemployed and I just didn't need the hassle.

If it were up to me, I would leave bad comments for everyone who takes too long to pay (more than a few days) and all people who back out of deals.  I am with Garbandz...I just don't like that behavior and no one needs my info, unless they are doing business with me.

Actually had one guy once PM me: "Is the xyz box available?"

And I reply with yes it is, the payment total, and my PP address.

Guy then responds hours later with, "No I wasn't interested in buying it, I just wanted to know if it sold."

He didn't inquire if something sold or not or asking questions to potentially buy (i.e. Tire kickers as someone else said. He agreed to take the item and payment info was sent to pay. Backing out after agreeing to buy is something is not ok.
