Hello from Charlotte NC

Hi all,

I joined OLH a while back, but am just now browsing the forums. Thought I should provide a brief intro.

I recognize a number of you from FOH, where I have been a member for the past year.  My user account there is TCContender and my feedback rating is 50 - all positive.  I have been an avid cigar smoker for the past 15 years and the past 5 years frequent international travel has exposed me to more CCs.  I have leveraged that travel to build a substantial collection.

I live south of Charlotte NC and my interests include fly-fishing, hunting, weightlifitng and spending time with family.

I look forward to chatting with you all as I browse the forum!

Welcome aboard!  Enjoyed my last visit to the queen city immensely; stayed at the dunhill and spent a good time at the bar.  Of course, the days of smoking are gone there as much or more than other southern cities, but it still has pockets of charm.

CeltMick84 - Dunhill hotel is one of the few hotels with character left in Charlotte.  I do agree that there are few places left to smoke in the area.  I moved south of the city and there is a cigar bar within a few miles of my home.  They get away with smoking as it is a members-only bar, $20 lifetime membership fee.  Cheap for some much  needed freedom.
