Cycling
If I remember right we have some cyclist here. What steed are you guys riding? I have been off the bike for almost three years now and just got back on a Specialized Sirrus. Just a bike to try and get back into shape. Am Thinking of making the switch to Trek for a roadie. Really miss my road bike (sold for school). The Trek Emonda slr6 red smoke is calling me! :bigup:

See the handle, it comes from my mountain bike days (though it was a longer than I want to admit)
I've got 2 road bikes, both are steel.
#1 I've had since the early 90s is a Bridgestone RB1. It was originally 7 speed Ultegra with down tube shifters. I rebuilt it yrs ago when I couldn't find 7 speed cogsets any more. I've replaced the steel fork with a carbon one, wow what a difference that made in the ride. These days it has a 9 speed Ultegra STI setup...
While I was rebuilding the RB1 I came across an old Colnago Master frame on ebay, and it came home to me. I'd loved them since I saw my first one in the early 90s. This is a late 80s early 90s vintage I think.
Colnago Master frame that I have built with a full Campy Record groupo. It took for ever to get the proper polished silver parts and not that silly ghetto/tactical black stuff they have been running for the last few yrs.
Oh, and the real geezer schwag, they both have Brooks saddles :kissa:

I was always on my Specialized Allez road bike back in high school and college. Sold it to help pay for some stuff after I dropped out haha. I've made a lot of bad decisions....
Used to enjoy riding a lot tho. Did a couple MS150 rides every year. And the Seagull Century in Salisbury, MD was another favorite ride of mine. I should get back in the saddle again to help lose some of the extra lbs I've added since those day! Haha.

I haven't ridden on a road bike for a long time but I rode a nishiki which I loved. I ride my Cannondale MTB now about 30 miles a week. No need for a road bike cause it's fast enough to get me where I'm going.

Riding steel and keeping it real! Even though I ride a carbon road bike and aluminum mtn bike, I still love my Schwinn Prologue(road) and Specialized Stumpjumper Comp (mtn, came with rigid fork!) both Tange Prestige steel. I use the Stumpjumper as my 'round town bike, such a pleasure to ride an old school steel frame.
Your Brooks saddle on the full Campy Colnago is a nice touch, must be a sweet looking ride. The question is whether your ass survived the break in!
Also have a couple of vintage Schwinn cruiser frames I rebuilt with alloy wheels, new fenders, wide white walls etc., and a basket on the front for those quick trips for beer(or milk!)
Biking is good for the soul.

I have a Trek 4.5 Madone that I haven't ridden in a year or more. Would like to get back out there this Summer. I also have a Trek 7.5 hybrid that is a sweet ride. The Madone is Carbon Fiber frame. Sweet entry level racing bike from a few years ago.
