After seeing as many fake phantoms as I ever care to see, I don't think genie is real either. It just looks suspect to me. I hope I am wrong.
after buying a shit ton of fake phantoms, let's just say that particular forbidden X looks quite similar. The cello is suspect, as is the cedar. Again, I hope I am wrong. But if you want to purchase it, I won't stop you. I'm just saying you should be cautious.

Do a search about fakes. You will see there were allot of these spread throuout the cigar community, so any and all forbidden X, especially the lancero were fake as fuck.

I was curious because I know the seller personally and where he bought it.

Appreciate the heads up, but pretty sure you got this one wrong.
I personally, and truly honestly hope I am wrong. No disrespect to your friend, but even some of my friends,  acquaintances , and such, have purchased the fakes I have mentioned. Some have even smoked these and thought they were real. But in the end, the man himself has confirmed them all to be fake.

But the other cigars in that sampler look awesome!

Damnit, I knew I shouldn't have tried to pull one over on anyone. I was immediately suspicious about this cigars provenance upon receiving it. I got it from this suspicious store located at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. I was immediately tipped off to the fact that they might be fakes because they were selling mostly high end Fuente, and from my internets experience it usually means they are a purveyor of fakes when people do that. Yeah right, cuz what kind of store specializes in high end Fuente and almost nothing else? Practically screams fake at ya. Then, on top of that, they sell some kind of custom roll. PFFFFT, whatever with that. Customs rolls and HTF Fuente? Sounds like hot garbage fakes to me.
Then, it hit me like a ton of bricks and the final clue to how fake these were finally fell into place. Caesars Palace would be in Rome stupid! This entire building was a sham, a lie, a great fake meant to deceive the masses! Imagine, an entire complex built for the sole purpose of peddling fakes upon the unsuspecting Las Vegas consumers! Then I wondered, how deep did the conspriacy go? Surely something as large scale as this must have attracted government attention. Why didn't someone step in to stop the madness? The answer is as obvious as it is simple: it doesn't stop because the orders to sell these fake come directly from the President. Here's how it works: The President has ordered the CIA to release a gas form of LSD upon the masses in Vegas via project MKSuperDuperUltra to pull the veil over many consumers eyes. Fortunately for me, I was unaffected due to the fact that I just normally walk around with a military grade gas mask on so I was unaffected. However, just typing this has put my life at risk, and I though I wish I could go into more detail I can't because I can hear the black helicopters coming to get me or at the very least drop Agent Orange all over my property to silence me from telling the truth.
Seriously though, I do wish someone around could maybe just send a fucking PM from time to time instead of just putting up something in the BZ. People talk about community around here sometimes and if that were true a basic modicum of decency would exist before some of these posts go up. I've been around here for a while, and while I'm neither a large seller nor a large poster I've certainly never ripped anyone off or had a negative experience on this site. I'm on another site as well where I have a little bit more rep then here and I'm sure anyone from there who knows me would vouch for me. In addition to that, even though this is sold, I did take some photos of the cigar in question this morning to include into this thread just so everyone can see that it's legit. Question it more if you would like, I feel completely safe in this cigars provenance and if it were determined to be a fake that would be a large issue considering that it was purchased at the Casa.

I'd also like to mention that I realize the cello isn't in the best shape but it has been removed before so that I could just double check to make sure there was no issues with mold growth beneath the cedar and I did so again recently when someone told me that they had some moldly cigars underneath cedar that they were completely unaware of. I figured its better to be safe then sorry. Ever try putting a cedar cigar back into the cello? It's not easy and it can certainly mess it up a bit. This last time I ripped the end of the cello putting it back in. If I used more foreplay to wetten it up it might've helped, but I'm more of a shove it in dry kind of guy.

This was pretty awesome but you should have waited for Friday before going apeshit.
