Elmer T Lee

Any good? Saw some on the shelf at the store near me. Should I pick it up or go after something else?

I'm brand new to the bourbon world and higher end whisky lines. One store has it but want $80. I found a bottle of Sazerac Rye I bought and I'm gonna try tonight. Any other that I should keep an eye out for in my travels? Price range is $120 and below.
Thanks

I found a bottle! Man this crap is hard to find. I went to 6 liquor stores with a giant list BTAC PAPPY etc. Two places had Lee. One guy said. Yep. $90 for Elmer and oh yeah I got pappy. He reached under the counter brought two bottles out. He said 10yr is $500 and 20yr is $2000 ( I glared at him and walked out)

No shit down the road Elmer T Lee was $42! And pappy 12 was $425? These price swings are nuts!😂

Elmer at $40something is what I was sure I remembered; I walked into a store this week and saw it for close to $90 and thought, Huh!?

Any other bourbons $100 or less that are really good and can actually be found? ( I've drank my weight in jack Jim and Evan but was hoping to branch out)
