Locking of Bellhop Thread

So JohnE1000 was all mysterious about locking the Bellhop thread.  Perhaps anyone would care to engage in random guessing, wild speculation, outright fabrication, or other comment about his possible motives?  :)

Really, the only thing I can think is that he was threatened by someone or someones.  That would be a "strong reason."

I suspect he was made whole. They have a new employee that has been reaching out and offering to replace cigars, et cetera. I am awaiting a replacement box for my damaged RA RE.

I'm glad to hear they seem to be in the process of making things right, but I can't imagine that would be reason to lock the thread.  If that were the case, I'd think the responsible thing to do would be to report that they were fixing things.

I'm more inclined to agree with ^^^ that the lawsuit and full name mentions have more to do with the locking.

Not sure why JohnE1000 locked his thread. Either way, glad he brought it up. I was going to pull the trigger with BellHop for a 8 boxes order.

Just before he locked it, I found the following about BellHop's owner, Anthony Masciangelo:

Looks like he had a company called Cigar500.com and was sued by Cigar Aficionado. He came back as BellHop.
