Looking for some help, I'm not a Cuban smoker and picked this up can you guys gives me your thoughts on whether or not it's legit?

Whoo... well... tough to say.  Nice looking wrapper.  Any clue on the box code or provenance (your personal source and their vendor)?  I don't see a triple cap, but completely authentic CC don't [i]always[/i] have a triple cap.. they almost always do, but I wouldn't say 100.0% do.

Without you sending it to me for a proper sampling, all I could say is to read a bunch of BHK reviews, smoke it, and see if it gels with what others are saying.

If you're in doubt about the source, I hope it was a single!  Let us know, BTW.

How much did you pay for it and from where. A B&M tried to sell me some BHK54 one time for $30 a piece. I called bullshit and then I got hit with the story... no, really, they're 2nds and rejects but they're totally legit. Hah!

It was single I paid $33 in Mexico, smoked it and was excellent, would I pay $33 again prob not. It wasn't mind blowing.

As long as you enjoyed it and are happy than that's all that matters. In my experience Mexico can be a little dicey so I try to always visit an LCDH when traveling there.

It's kind of hard to counterfeit Cohibas with those new hologram bands. I'm glad they decided to use them on most of their vitolas now, brilliant decision.
