AK-47 deals

Post by Matyoka »

Hello there,

Wondered if you could do me a solid and inform me if you see any good deals on AK-47 type rifles. Looking for the double stack 2x30 mag with bayonet deal. I am focusing on the Yugo Zastava M70 NPAP but I would not mind going for a WASR 10 if price was good...

Thanks fellow BOTLs!!!

I have both. The NPAP is the much better built rifle, though the WASR can be 'accessorized' easier.

Agree that the WASR is closer to the real AK and some people don't like the high butt-stock on the Yugo... but I am shooting for quality being it will be my first AK. Thanks for your input, appreciate it.

Depending on where you are, and the laws on personal transfers in your state, you might find what you're looking for here:

Careful, it can wipe out your available funds for cigars pretty fast...

you can always check gunbroker.com

Everyone I shoot with is into precision shooting, whether it's NRA service rifle, High Power Long range or PRS type "tactcial" (hate that word) shooting.  Nobody I know shoots an AK other than just to make noise.

I've owned several WASRs and they were all pretty crude. But then again they were dirt cheap about 15 years ago. My last was an Arsenal Bulgarian with a milled receiver. That was a beautiful rifle but I realized why I kept getting rid of them. The ergonomics are horrible.
