I get that these people are waiting for someone new who doesn't know any better to come along and scoop these up.  Being new myself, I would never buy something that's been repeatedly bumped for sometimes months without selling.  I may not know what a fair deal is on some of the items in question, but it's pretty fucking obvious there's a problem here.
