Could the 2014 UF-4 just be a rebanded UF-13?

Post by Mynamesnotdan »

I opened a bundle of UF-4s from this year's release, and they are identical in appearance to the UF-13. Please take a look at the full album here: http://imgur.com/a/dKhzg

Halfwheel seems to think this year's release was going to be a 6x52 toro like the previous years: http://halfwheel.com/liga-privada-uf-4-returning-2014/72253
but that is obviously not the case here.

Does anyone know if the blends are different? Could this be a factory mistake? Can someone shed some light on this, because I don't know what to think at this point.

Whole bundle of unicorns.

Ebay quick!
Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.

Go get a fresh UF13 and smoke them side by side.

Since the UF-4s have never had tails up 'til now, I'm leaning towards a banding fuck up. Super rare and collectible or a rip?  You be the judge.

Selling out seems to be status quo lately at DE, certainly looks like you are right.

Smokes made by a company that puts profit and status over quality. Maybe it's the new JD hype - giving customers something different than what they ordered.  I'm sure hundreds of hipster cigar smokers everywhere will love it!

Now where can I buy a $100 liga A? :horse:

No doubt that's a 13, and Im sure that's not accidental, JD has always taken pride in his QC, but who knows. Excellent photos btw.

are those are the new grape flavored UF4s? they're the ones that were supposed to have the pig tails.

Great pictures. Sure looks like the exact same cigar. Do all this years UF-4's have pigtails? I smoked the last 2 years edition and didn't think it was anything special.
