ISO Suggestions for $50 or under red wine

Post by cigarlover888 »

Looking for suggestions to try some new reds.

I enjoy different wines, but looking for something I have not had.

Cabs, Merlot, Petite Syrah, Meritages, Pinots, etc.

Blue eyed boy is an Australian Shiraz I have been drinking lately and find it to be killer!

Also Clio is a Spanish wine from jumilla Spain that I absolutely love

if you like a "bigger" wine anything Dave Phinney does, Prisoner, Orin Swift wines, Locations series (upper teens).

Athenaeum Cabernet Sauvignon '12

An excellent cab sauv from Rutherford Valley. Easy to find around my area (45 mins from Napa) check Bevmo if you're near one. Retails $40 but it's often on Bevmo BOGO 5 cents sale.
