I've been reading up on Opus X Maduros and saw a couple threads that indicated that in the past both cigarbid and cigarsdirect have sold counterfeits, specifically in the double robusto size. Does anyone have any additional information about this?
For the record, this is NOT directed at the recent listing, I'm not questioning the provenance on those. I am just looking for information from folks who have been around the cigar game longer than I.

This has been the topic of some recent discussion as well. It's also been discussed a good amount of CF with the Maduros and peppers. Last I looked cbid doesn't sell any Fuentes anymore. Not sure if it was a fluke or related. And yes, buyer beware on any site or 3rd party listing (as a general statement).
