I don't smoke cigarettes, don't like them, and though I don't agree with smoking bans (imposing regulations regarding a legal practice on private business) I get that there is at least a shred of logic somewhere in there. This however is summed up pretty well as :
"...elected officials are restricting a product that isn't demonstrably harmful or annoying simply because it may not be as helpful as expected. Isn't that unreasonable?"
