What's up withthe chat window adding extraneous characters "\" to quotes and apostrophys?

I'm quite sure it's a very minor thing, but har to find.

I asked that the first day.  I've been told that because it is running in my sites code PHP is escaping out of the quotes to keep you from writing SQL.  I don't think it is something that will be getting fixed

I would rather have it on the Forum Index Page only.  It gets annoying after a while on every page- But I think it would be perfect if it were just on that one page.  There.  That's my $.02 .

This site gets hundreds unique visitors a day and only 19 have voted?  :gotcha:  Oh well.  Here's the deal so far, the 19 voted are split 10/9 and I prefer the chat on one page so I'll do it that way till I get indication that a significant number of people want it on every page.
