Pairing beer with a cigar has been something of a challenge for me. A Guinness is a go to brew for me, but when paired with a cigar like a No 9 or other "rich" smoke, the Guinness gains a bitterness I don't enjoy.
Newcastle Brown on the other hand has paired well for me with nearly any "maduro-esque" stick.

Lots here would disagree with me, but I like Bud Light. It has a flavor that is not overwhelming, and it also has that fizz to cleanse the palate between draws. I also love chocolate snowballs with cigars. I have some friends that don't drink, and this has become one of my favorite combinations.
I come from the land of "Show your tit's, and that ain't no lie!!!

I'll disagree about the Bud Light! :P
It is hard to pair cigars and beer sometimes if your cigar collection is a little eclectic. I've always been a huge fan of Duvel and an RASS, but that right there is my favorite beer with my favorite cigar. Bliss!

Agree fruitier Belgian Ales, especially Trappists, pair best with cigars.

If you can get it , Cigar City brewing's Maduro Brown Ale pairs well with lots of sticks.

Abt 12 goes very well with most smokes that I enjoy... i like most quads or Abts anyhow.
