New wineador setup??
Looking at setting up my new/2nd wineador. I use Heartfelt beads in my other but have heard there are better options. Asking for advice and amount for a 28 btl. wineador.
Thanks

go with what you know. to many options and to many opinions.
I like heartfelt cause that's what I use, not saying other methods aren't as good maybe even better, but they work for me. And yeah there pricey.

2.5lbs of HCM beads. Set and forget. They require "no" water. They come pre programmed to the Rh you want. They are not silica. 1st class product and personal service.
Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.

I agree, I recently got these HCM beads due to TheGiver's recommendation and I did a test on one of my wineadors and I couldn't be more happy. Now I have converted all 5 of my wineadors with them. I am using 3 of the 8oz of the packs for my 28-count wineadors and 2 of the 8oz bags for my 16-count wineadors.
Very happy with my investment. Thanks!
Still testing the quantity of ounces per wineador, as long as they are packed with boxes & sticks the above seems to work out great for me. If I ever have one of my winedoars which is only 1/2 full I may need to up the amount of HCM beads per wineador, but I doubt that will ever happen as I keep all 5 of them stocked to the brim, LOL . I always seem to need more room. ;D
Don't forget to use black electrical tape over your condensation drain. :)

In the process of humidifying my 28 bottle wineador - the New Air. I have 2lbs of HCM beads in the wineador. How long should I expect it to take to get to 65%?
The beads have been in the box for about 2 days and it's holding steady at 58%. I have 1lb near the top and 1lb resting on the bottom.
Thanks!

Inside of your wineador, do you have cedar shelves? if so have you seasoned the cedar yet? If the cedar is dry I would recommend seasoning it before using the HCM beads.
If your cedar is seasoned properly it should reach 65% within 2 hours - 24 hours (depending on how full your wineador is? The less full the longer it will take, the more full the shorter period of time it will take to reach the correct RH.

There is nothing in my winedor. Waiting on the shelves and drawers. I guess I need to remove the HCM beads and use another form of humidification until the drawers arrive, I get them seasoned, and the humidity level is at 65%. Sounds like the HCM only maintain a 65% once the 65% is established.
