Humidor Advice
In the few mths, Ive been puffing, Ive move from a 50 to a 125ct, humidor i use the 50 for acid and other sticks. But my thrill for this thing and the fact im always getting more is making me run out of room. So im asking your guys help on where and what kind of Humidor i should get. Im thinking a 250 Ct might give me a enough room to grow. Or 500 ct is not out of ? either. Please help a new guy. Thanks alot, Jesse D Olson

I suppose the question is how many cigars do you want to keep on hand(for smoking and to age), than go from there.
Me, I have enough space for 750.

Unless you are worried about showing them off, I would just get a cooler, a pound or two of beads and be happy. A cooler is will keep rock solid RH and they are cheap to buy.
Shoot me a PM if you decide to get one and need help setting it up.

used old unplugged wine coolers do the same as a marine cooler, only you still get the effect of being able to see your stuff. I find them on Craigslist for 20-50 depending on the size.

I agree with Paragon and Isufan. Get a cooler or wine fridge to age the majority of your sticks. Use the desk tops you have now for presentation and to keep what you will be smoking soon, to limit the # of times opening the cooler.

I'm fond of the wine cooler refrigerators. In the summer I don't keep the AC that low so temperature control is harder for me than humidity.
If you get a wine cooler type you will probably need to adjust the thermostat settings to get it to maintain in the 60s. Most of them have a max setting arouind 55 (my experience, yours may vary) . It is easy, all you need to do is open the cover and stun a screw.

General rule of thumb is, "You don't have enough room... EVER!" LOL
While I'm being somewhat humerous, there's enough truth in it to go 'round. Buy as big as you can, if you're like most, you won't regret it.

Yes you guys are right, the 50 qt. cooler i got is just not cutting it, so all the time i play box games to make room, so im holding out for a craiglist deal on a wine cooler, But my ? is this cuz ive heard diff answers. I go with keeping my cigar boxes shut, but ive heard to keep them cracked open in the cooler? Also when a whole and they come in celo i remove the celo on them and put them in there box. I did this with Short storys and TAT Havna VIs. Btw my local B&M just had a tat event, and it was the shit, Free 3 pack of blacks with a box buy, and i scored a sick TAT ashtray. :nana: Btw if any one is in Seattle, 20 mins south on I-5 in fife is smokey Joes, a great cigar bar. Google it, its the shit. thanks guys
