Advise: THE Remington Electronic Climate Controlled Cigar Cabinet?

Post by coronacigar »

Just curious if anybody has had any experience or feedback with The Remington Electronic Climate Controlled Cigar Cabinet

I'm looking at possibly getting one of these

(26" W X 26" D X 74.5" H)
Sale Price $1,885.50 after added to cart, this seems to be the cheapest price I can find for a humidor with this capacity that is both temp & humidity controlled.

Can anybody give me any recommendations, or ideas on recommended alternatives with a similar size & price range?  (both temp & humi controlled)

Thanks  :D

PM sent
I bought one, and would not do it again.
Too much detail to go into here.
Just doesn't work as designed.

FWIW I've had a Staebell cabinet for six years, with zero problems.  If you're in that range of humidors, I can't recommend Bob's work enough.  Fantastic workmanship, and he may be the nicest guy on the planet to do business with.  One man's opinion....

If I were to spend $2k on something that is intended for long-term storage of expensive cigars, I would look for something that had a long-term warranty (certainly longer than the 90 days offered at the linked site).  :fro:

I have one-works fine no issues...sound haven't put water in it in 6 months and temperature control is a plus since I live in the desert. Have a friend that has 3 of them as well.

I have one as well.  Looks really nice but have a hard time keeping it below 70 in the summer and above 60 in the winter.

The temperature control is great but the humidification device leaves a lot to be desired.

I have beads and cigar oasis XL Plus in mine to regulate the humidity.

Any suggestions to spike the RH in the winter months?
A cigar is as good as memories that you have when you smoked it.

Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.
