Thinking about getting into pipe smoking and have Questions

Hello,

As stated in the title. I am thinking about getting into smoking pipes.  I have done a little research and I haven't been able to find much with regards to different types of pipes.  I do know this, I don't want to spend much (less than $40) and I like a bent stem and prefer briar pipes.  Is there anything to know? is there a good website where people trade and sell pipes? (sorta like this one but for pipes) is there a good website where I can learn more? any info would help, thanks.

So I spent the last few hours doing some more reading.... Is anyone familiar with the Dr. Grabow Savoy? I'm interested in the bent one. Are they any good? obviously on the cheaper side but do they hit above their weight? or a waste of money?
