So, besides mk05 and myself, who else got scammed by Matt?  It's been two weeks and no sticks, plus he's been MIA here since the 8th.  His last message (Tuesday the 8th at 8:29am) claimed he had food poisoning and was going to get the goods out that day.  In all my years this is the first time I've been screwed and I'm not too happy about it.  The actual money doesn't matter, it's the principal and respect, or lack there of, that bother me.  I have some contact info, but will wait until this board has spoken before moving forward.  Please feel free to interject.

After my reply that we seem to be back on track, Matt disregarded my PM reaching out for guidance on timing.

Jas and I were told by a couple others at a different forum that Matt may not have had food poisoning, but something unrelated happen. This made us a little hesitant to start the thread, nevertheless I believe two weeks without shipment and communication is grounds for alerting. As Jas said, it's about the principle and mutual respect, of which Matt has disregarded in his transactions with us.

I have checked Matt's history here and elsewhere, and it appears this is not the first time he has been tardy on his end - but eventually he does come through. I sincerely hope that such is the case, and this becomes resolved.

Matt was fine on our trade.  A couple days late sending out the sticks but he did it, and they were in good shape when they arrived.  

He did say he was visiting a friend and that his mom would be sending me the box.  We spoke via phone and his mom sent me a photo of the cigars before I sent payment, all seemed fine and turned out fine.  I hope Matt makes good for you guys.

This guy and his multiple excuses, and it looks like he is telling different people different things...another red flag that the dark side may have pulled him in.

I hope you guys are made whole and that he takes care of his end soon.

While I have no dog in this race, I do question the need to put somebody's full name out for view, particularly since OLH is a public forum and this likely involved CC's.  I understand the need to do so if there is a pattern or a suspicion of a single person using multiple accounts, but as far as I know that is not the case here.  The reason I state this is because as of right now, this is a matter of a late shipment and thus until need be should be a matter for the botl community, not for potential employers, law enforcement, and the like.

I do know that Matt, with whom I have had multiple successful transactions in the past, has also been absent from another board for a while, which by his posting pattern is highly unusual.

I have seen Matt on other boards for many years and even though he has feedback here that displays late shipping, I felt he was a good person.  After giving us a BS excuse of food poisoning, 7 days after we paid, and not replying to our PM's, or my Facebook message, I felt it necessary to post this and his info here.  My stepfather, who has been in my life for 30 years, just died Sunday night and I found time to log in here, so Matt has no leg to stand on.  He scammed us out of money and trust, and I am pissed about that.  Your opinion my vary, but I felt his name should be posted so others do not get scammed as well.
