Bolivar Gold Medal form Smokestack79
Last week, Smokestack79 posted 40 sticks of 2006 Bolivar Gold Medal for sale. I contacted him for photos of the box and the cigars. He said that he doesn't have the boxes, he only have 40 singles. The listing was removed shortly after.
Today he listed 20 sticks of 2001 Bolivar Gold Medal.
To my knowledge, there is no 2001 nor 2006 release of the Bolivar Gold Medal.

I contacted him as well. There were no gold medals from 2001 per http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/
He changed is listing from 2001 to 2007 pretty quickly and deemed it a typo. More sketchy stuff or an honest mistake? :bait:

I'm sure he will have an explanation, probably even a couple of conflicting one.

That makes sense. After all the LE's and Reg Releases and positive feedback I now am making my big move on 12/13$ Bol Gm's. I have an over abundance of these sticks and simply wanted to come off some. When I originally listed them I put 06 thinking that's what the box dates were. Someone corrected me and I updated the listing. When I reposted a couple of days later an OBVIOUS typo occurred when I listed them as 01's. really??? 12/13$ sticks but I'm up to something ??? I'm glad I'm about out of stuff I want to get rid of.

I'm sure you're not the only one.
And your comment proves you don't get all the comments regarding your sales, which also makes some of them valid.

There were a few late 2006 boxes of BGM's that were released in Italy.

So far, no one has been screwed by this guy. I bought some cigars from him last week and couldn't ask for anything better. So he said 01 instead of 06. I accept his explanation because he's been listing a whole lot of stuff and I can see how it can happen.

Yeah, 2006 box codes to exist and they were all over. They might have been released in 2007 (per CCW), but 2006 box codes are legit.
