Snow in April!?

Post by WadeFillingame »

I will never understand why anyone lives up here.  You have had a couple of hundred years to get out.  It''s been at least 100 since we knew where they rest of the land was on this continent.  My family moved to GA in the 1750's and now I know why. I'm just on an extended visit here for the last couple of yrs and there is not one redeeming value in this frozen hell hole.

Ok, possibly sailing in Rhode Island in the summer, but that is maybe 8 weeks, the rest of the time this place is just heinous.

People who live in New England deserve it.

I understand the sentiment as this snow in April shit has been a real buzzkill for me too, but there is plenty of good that makes New England worth while.  Fall foliage, awesome beaches, skiing, several mountain ranges to camp, hunt, fish, 4-wheel, & hike in, and some of the best damned people anywhere in the U.S. of A are just a few that come to mind.

haha, y'all need to move out to San Francisco....it was 70 degrees, sun shining, no clouds until about 5 pm today and it's like that most of the year besides a few rainy days.  Not that many cigar smokers live in the area but it's absolutely beautiful place to live.

CA and Mass would both charge me with multiple felonys for the firearms that I own. no thanks.

I did live on the central coast for about a yr and a half, it was beautiful, it is too bad the state is so screwed up politically, (nt to mention the cost of living in the bay area)

I have to agree with you about the people's republic of Mass.  No debate there.  But the "Live Free or Die State" is also part of the New England area, and they don't even have a seat belt law!  I have many fireaarms myself, and while I can't have class 3 stuff, I feel pretty well protected.  And Im pretty sure CA ain't in New England, (though some dumb ass liberal out there could probably talk you ears off for hours about how they really are and should be considered as such!)

Yes, the weather has been really strange in NYC, as well - we had snow flurries in the morning a couple of days ago. :(

My dear friend from Latin America, who adores NYC, once said: "I love NYC - even garbage looks beautiful here."
Mae West - "Is that a gun in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"
