The oldest.

Post by Direwolf »

I asked this in chat the other day and received a couple responses. Figured I'd give the forum a chance. What is the oldest stick or sticks you own, and what is the oldest you have smoked. I'm still new to the hobby ( lil over a year in ) so I really have ziltch experience with aged sticks. Scott hooked me up with a 90's Opus that was pretty damn good.

I've had a good handful of younger Opus. To see the difference between a younger stick and one that has set for so long is awesome. Things like this is what I want to learn from the hobby.

I still have some of the WWII nazi cigars that supposedly put in rations and such, bought in an auction many years ago, certain boxes of them were around and had the swastika on it. The cigars are way past any prime that they may have had, short filler , 2 different sizes. But oldest smokable sticks, some singles of stuff from the 80's any sort of bulk would be 90's.

You liked that old RdC didnt ya? LOL
I'm not so young or impressionable anymore, but still younger than most of you old hags-LOL

I took your advice and then some. Actually had  a week clean palate before smoking it. This and the Behike I had for my 40th bday in August have been the best smokes so far.
