Tatuaje Little Monsters

Post by fuentesmoker »

I was curious to know what the general consensus was on these with the community here @OLH. I have to say other than the mummy I was pleasantly surprised and I enjoyed them @$7.50 a stick. The Frank wasn't as good of course but had some hints of the OR. The haters need not jump in!
Thanks Wade for making it all possible here!

Yea, I've been curious as to how the Lil Monsters stack up against their big bros. I'm skeptical but hopeful as well.

Ditto, but I'm really wondering whether ANY comparison is worthwhile. Frankly (no pun intended), having had only one Frank, which I smoked when it was just under 3 years, I personally would not be a good judge when comparing it to the Little Frank. I'm assuming that there's going to be a lot of difference of opinions as to whether or not they should even be compared to each other.

I only smoked one so far, the Frank JR.  I thought it was very young and all I got was a slight sweetness lingering in the background and some typical young tobacco flavors up front.  I think this one needed some time and I will revisit in a few months.  THe original Frank I smoked had about 3 years on it and it was quite different.  I did get tons of spice on the retrohale, and the spice was very complex and interesting, but the cigar as a whole just needs some time, and I will probably smoke the next one in 6 months.

I think Steve (randomhere1090) here smoked 4 of them so far, and mentioned that he will be sitting on the rest for a few months.

I have smoked the little versions of the Frank and Drac, and the Frank is the only standard monster I haven't had.  I mostly got spice from the Frank, and the Drac gave leather, cocoa, and a good bitterness in the first half with a spicy second half.

In other words the Frank was ok and the Drac was good.

These sound interesting but had a feeling they would need some down time.

I've been hearing the same thing... nice flavors, but they may have been a little rushed... Mine were in no rush since they just shipped today... but I'm REALLY excited about the card...

Hold onto those cards, by the looks of the excitement generated by a few members here, a couple cards may be worth a nice box of CCs in a couple years.
