Safe to Buy from List?

Is it possible for you all who know for sure about someone! To post that person as a Safe to Buy from list. I ask because I have no clue and I bet good money I am not even close to the only one.

I think that's an imposibility as the vast majority of scammers come on the boards and build a good rep, setting guys up for the big "heist" that will happen later on.  Also, there's been no shortage of guys who just up and went douchbag after a real extended period of time, longer than the amount of time necessary to merely build up a good rep.  John Wierzbicki, aka. Chilithief aka. Frogscummer did this.  Would you want to be the one who said, "Yea, this guy's okay.", only to have him scum-out later on?  I wouldn't.

I would definitely buy from a guy whose nick is "knuck42"...but that guy never sells anything.  Hmmm...

I learned from the FOG's when I first came around, only buy from guys you trust implicitly, guys you've herfed with or have herfed with your "inner circle" of pals. Even then froglicker pulled the old chargeback move and got me, but overall the approach has served me well.

Nothing is foolproof.  Pay for "goods" and don't use "gift."  Do your homework.  Talk to other members.

I know it is tough.  An item comes up you want and you want to act right away.
