New rules for newbies

Post by The Master »

Here is the deal people. If you are going to buy or sell with a Cfer who has a history, you will send your end first. If you balk at this then we will assume you are a thief trying to rob someone.  If you are trading with someone who has a long history at another cigar site then the same rules apply.

Cfers who have been around a while and have good reputations are beyond reproach. You people who come here with no history to buy or sell are nobodies. Once you have established yourselves( trading for a minimum of one year and at least 20 trades) then we will CONSIDER trusting you.

If anyone has a problem with this then guess what....I don't care.

Hmmm I agree with what you are saying 100%, but this is not a Cigar Family board and I don't see how rookies will feel they should oblige with what you are saying. Again I understand your point, but look at it from a rookies standpoint. What jurisdiction do you have at this forum?

This would be like you going to eBay trying to setup rules and regulations before a new member can sell an item. Just something to think about and best of luck trying to clean up the scums.

Well being one on another board and well over 100 feedback 100% positive I like it if he has the authority to make rules here. I like it and have asked people to send first and they didn't and It has been a long time since I have bought from anyone here. so as I said if you can back it up I like it.

Dave

Oh and I agree with David I think this is not a CF board why say that?

If the newbie doesn't oblige to sending his end first, and you aren't comfortable with his reputation elsewhere then don't deal with him. Simple as that. No need for a rule or this thread. Use your head when dealing online.

This is just a HLAM(Hi Look At Me!) thread.

This is a complicated matter... would you send $200 worth of CC's to a newbie who asks for them and send first without payment up front...doubtful?  Just because the seller is a newbie doesn't mean the buyer isn't a newbie too... so it works both ways.

I respect that Harris is here trying to keep deals honest(especially the ones involving CCs), but trying to enforce CF rules and laws in a non-CF forum will be tough...I can foresee some headbutting going on in the near future.

I am a member at CF, but was not a member there when Harris was apparently very active there.

So, let me get this straight...  CFers are better traders than non CFers?

Without cigars, I would have lost it long ago...

Holy shit did this thread bring out the people with no history, who don't know history, and don't respect history.  Dick-stepping, douche nozzles.

That is kind of what I am asking and trying to be polite in doing so, I was not treated kindly by CF'ers so to me if they are what we are to aspire to be you can keep it, history is fine and dandy, but is this a CF board or not?
Not trying to put all from CF'ers in the same category just trying to understand.

Why when a question is asked do all CF'ers always start yelling and name calling. That does not impress me not that there is any reason you should. BTW I have never bought a fake Cuban yet and I am not nor ever want to be a CF'er

Respectfully!
