The military takes these kinds of things very seriously. If you are able to get his real name and are able to prove he did this, I assure you he’ll be in deep shit. The XO and the NCO doesn’t like guys that do this. The NCO over him will march his ass right into the XO’s office over this. If he is enlisted, it is a guaranteed article 15. They will article 15 your ass for walking out on a bar tab. The best he can hope for is a bust in rank, confinement to base, and restitution to those he harmed along with a fine where he sacrifices a portion of his pay from 30 to 90 days. It is a huge deal to them. Now, if he is an officer, they are held to a much higher standard. He could even lose his career over it. Talk to a LC or a Colonel about this. Maybe even an O-1 or O-2 will confirm it. They will back up what I’m saying.

You may have had better luck with the local base officials vs CID (with regards to timing)if this person really is military.  If you have a name, plenty of people here could possibly look him up in global, find his organization, and eventually his commander.  CID is really bogged down, along with OSI…..might be a while for them to tackle this one down.
