Harris this isn't an example of sneakiness or anyone protecting his name here, it is apathy.  Take a look back in the threads and see how many long time cfers were posting about the great transactions they had with him, even after he got put on the list.

Sorry if I came on too strong with my original post, I could have worded it better in hindsight. My only goal is to help protect people from getting burned. I am not looking to have inter board wars. We have always depended on cooperation from all the boards to out these maggots.

I was unsure of all this as it played out but this response is exactly what I was hoping the intent of the post was. I have a reputation on another site but still would not expect everyone here to look for it. I always try to give references to people we may know in common here.  After the the TL fiasco I try to provide references for every thing I do here. I was less help with that then should have been as all of the festival cigars I was able to find at while there. To tell you the truth I may have bought a few to try if I didn't already have most of them. I did try my best by giving some reference sticks that I was sure were legit. I guess the bottom line for me is why would any one get offended if they were asked for references if not known to the person you are dealing with?  I don't think I have ever posted at CF but do have a few CF references when needed. May have been overstated in the first post but policing oursleves is needed as Wade has even expressed it. Policing a site like this is not a task I would look forward to and if he can do it well I look forward to his time here. I have seen people getting all offended at his post but mostly they just seem to be looking for information and background.

I'm the one who brought it up, so I'll "out" him here, (though, as this is all already public knowledge I really don't see it as outing at all).  Here is the info directly off of the Scumbag List:

x-man aka avioli aka Art Block (CP,CF,Puff, Others)...  Cashing a check from Smelvis after being told not to, refusing to return money without bank intervention.

I guess the guy doesn't bother to read the forums here, or he is just plain ignoring the post about him... you would think he would want to chime in and defend himself or make an attempt to make his past wrongs, right, now that he is selling regularly here again...

oh well, he is on the list, and thats enough reason for me to stay far away from his sales.

Glad to here that good rep is good rep, no matter the forum.

Also, if Elk Hunter is the same Elk from cbid, he is as stand up as it gets.
