First time that I've been successfully scammed in 20+ years of online trading.

I'm thinking that Harvey Merdon is likely a fake name. Not finding any Merdons in Hawaii or Texas.

I wonder if this guy could be stationed at Fort Hood, which makes up a good percentage of the local population in Killeen TX. A young man who goes from throwing money around to having money problems seems like a candidate. If we managed to get a real name, we might have luck finding out if this is the case. If it is, I am sure his commanding officer would be interested to know that he has been running internet scams. Might be one more way of applying pressure.

Has anyone been in contact with Killeen PD or the Postal Police?

He's probably trying to cover his tracks. Maybe he might try to say he was hacked or some other BS. I wonder what his IP logs look like here on the site. Are they consistent from when he first signed up? Do they seem to show out of Texas? Considering he committed all this fraud, I think it would be very helpful to have this type of info.

When did he request the change? Knowing this time and date is extremely crucial I think. Also, was this his first time changing his email?

I don't know what his original registered email was.  It doesn't show, but any time someone here tries to change their email it has to be approved.

I wonder if his original registered email had any more identifiable info on him and that it was the reason for him requesting the change.... How about his IP logs on the forum? Are they consistent from when he originally signed up? When you put his IP into this geolocator ([url=https://www.iplocation.net/ip-lookup]https://www.iplocation.net/ip-lookup[/url]) what are all the results? Does he show out of Texas mostly? If we had the IP logs, they would be good to include in the reports I make.
