In case you missed it this is my website, and every so often I take an interest in what is going on here.

To be clear, everyone is here at my pleasure., even you.

No this is incorrect. I am here at my pleasure.

IDK about the rest of these clowns here but I’ve spent thousands of dollars on cigars sold by your members here since I showed up.

If you get rid of me because I don’t like your politics, or don’t bow to you just because you’re the admin, hey, my life goes on, but you only diminish the worth of your own website by getting rid of the customers for those sellers who give this place meaning.

You're just mad because Trump is your president and you still can't believe it...

-sigh- You guys need a new come back. This only works a few times then you just sound like you’re lacking for anything new to say.

You really seem to have little understanding of me or this site (and the information is readily available here).  My website's worth to me is only that of an enjoyable hobby, so if you make my hobby less enjoyable then I see no loss in dropping the ban hammer on you.

That said.  I don't recall the last time I banned anyone here, and I've never banned anyone for being annoying or disagreeable. (I frequently find that the most annoying posters have entertainment value you can't buy.) This site has very few rules.  Break a written rule once and I will suspend you, break the written rules twice and you will be permabanned.  It's simple, it works for me, everyone understands it. There are occasions when someone does something that I find my few rules don't cover.  When that happens I will warn them, in no uncertain terms, once.

You are in no danger of being banned from this site for posting your beliefs or opinions with regard to pretty much anything.

It’s not an enigma. People come here to buy, sell and talk about cigars. No explanation is needed. This is a service half a dozen web resources provide as well, so why do I need any specific or expanded understanding of you or this site beyond that?

For years I admined a facebook group with 3500+ members who had an interest in the niche collectible market of meteorites. It was a place to discuss meteorites, buy them and sell them. It didn’t need to be more than that, and it is still exactly what it was when I was admin.

I merit you with having created a site that is effective at doing what people want it to do. It certainly has put me in touch with people who can get me the cigars I want, so I do thank you for that, but I am not seeing a need for an expanded understanding of this place beyond what it obviously is.

Understanding the expectations and tolerance level of the BB is quite important if one wishes to continue to have access to a particular web forum. This one in particular is administered quite differently than most that I have ever visited.

Much of what you, or I for that matter, have posted here recently would get us suspended or banned from many/most other sites. I have been unexpectedly suspended or warned on a number of sites for transgressions that wouldn't be a blip here. This site, and particular this forum is far more tolerant of conflict than most.

There are no advertisers here, as such there are no prohibitions on negative comments with regard to any products or companies.  This site also runs code in the root directory that stops most search engines from getting in here to see what is written.  I'm not interested in expanding the audience that way.  (try a few searches and see what you can find on onlinehumidor.com)

Back to the thread tpoic... here is a somewhat dated, but relevant article.

No liberal media bias there at all (said with the utmost sarcasm). I also noticed BJS hasn't had much to say since the fake news is finally being called out for what they truly are....
