See, now this is a perfect example of the community taking care of its own.  I did not know this guy was outed as a gouger on another site.  I also did not know, (or did not remember), that the cigars he is offering in the link provided were on deep, discount special.  $150-$160 per box for what he is offering seems like a decent price until one factors in his initial cost.  Then you see him for what he is, IMHO a gouger.  I have plenty of aged Boli and am not currently looking to add any more inventory, but if that were not the case this guy might have ended up with some of my money.  With this information now accessable it would never happen.  I think this is a good thing.

Aaaaaand just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water... he's at it again.  Why does anyone deal with this low life?

I bet too many people just don't know. They pop in for a quick check and see something they like at what they assume is price paid or very very close to that. .02

Well, in general it is a good idea to keep good sources to your self.  In the past ten or so yrs on the WWW I've seen more than a couple ruined by publicity.  They now have closed customer lists and you only get in with a recommendation, or they just don't do it and people had problems.   :horse:

Second, I've watched this conversation for a while and stayed out of it, but I will say that I believe in the free market.  As for the concept of BOTL, HA!   :gotcha: I personally know a lot of people from the boards  that I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire.  :boty: Just because someone smokes cigars has very little to do with whether or not I am going to like you.  I will go on to say that the common interest has brought be together with some of the best friends in my life today.   

It is all fine and dandy if you want to call people out here, I completely support the community policing itself, but nobody has appointed you as the net nanny for the cigar community on the WWW either. 

There is a reason people come to this site, it is to purchase cigars that they can't get where they are, whether that be regional releases or Tat Blacks, availability, or the lack thereof does in fact have a value.  Having something in the TSBC to sell generates traffic, traffic generates interest and interest will get people posting the things that you want.

I can adjust the prices to what I paid but not sure if that is what you want me to do. I’d really like for Cigarlvr07 to step into the Battlezone and elaborate a little more on the above comments.  Especially the second.  From the way I’m reading it, he’s saying he didn’t know anything about these sales, that someone else told him about them and about the prices.  Hmmm.  Interesting.  A little information:

In November 08 on a cigar forum, a certain vendor posted a Pre-Holiday Sale with some hefty discounted prices.  Cigarlvr07 posted in this Pre-Holiday Sale thread the following:

Since he is aparantly without the spine to do so allow me...  He bought at deep discount and is selling for large profit.  He is a gouging profiteer and he is lieing about it!

didn't he also confirm the vendor bought from in a reply to a PM from someone?

Cigarlvr07 is a scumbag tool douchebag and he shouldn't be allowed to set up shop here and try to rip people off. Screw this guy. :finger:
