From my perspective, ignoring someone for over 2 years regardless the reason is unreasonable. It doesn't matter if you have 10,000 positive feedbacks, 3 auto accidents and a brain tumor. If still alive you could have reached out but didn't. The fact still remains that the last transaction went south and the trader was ignored. He reached out on several social media platforms and was ignored. So what is anyone supposed to think? It would appear to most that you slithered back here hoping to get forgiveness for a botched trade that went south on your end, not his. I hope that you both can come to an agreement and resolve this, even though it has over two years of age on it. You may never salvage your former reputation but at least you'll be able to sleep at night knowing it is resolved.

I stated I would never be selling again, I only have stock for consumption at this point and could’ve just continued to buy under the radar but felt like addressing it. So really has nothing to do with trying to “slither” back.

In regards to health having a brain infection, 3 surgeries, 4 hospital stays, 5 ER visits, a second child, all while moving and having a flooded basement…..with a new born and 2.5 year old sometimes ya just lose to will or care to post online about a broken cigar jar that was completely out of your hands. By the way not sleeping at night was never a problem, no one was intentionally screwed over. Shit happens in shipping and in life. Like I said in my first post, I packed it to the best of my ability. I sent pictures before I mailed it, cut up and tried to pad it, labeled it fragile. Can only do so much when it’s in my hands vs usps.

And no you’re wrong, 15 positive transactions over 6 months is not the same as thousands over a decade. We’re all entitled to our opinion on that but you’re an idiot if you think really think that those are the same especially when looking at the circumstances here.

Unfortunately, facts are still facts. I'll refrain from suggesting idiocy of any kind since I think you and I are both sensible gentlemen who happen to disagree on this major point. I understand you've been through a shitstorm. But life's negativities never are confined to just you. We all go through rough spots. He says he will never be selling again, twice, and has a sales post up right now  . I know I'm newish here, 2 years, but this is mind blowing. Who ghosts a buyer for 2 1/2 years and randomly comes back and gives complete and utter bullshit excuses. Still hasn't made things right with the buyer and is very cavalier about the whole thing. siting his long history of feedback and saying "it is what it is". You can come up with every excuse under the sun but if you have time to take a shit, you have time to reply and make things right. I know OLH isn't Facebook and largely for the better. But this guy would have been booted from every single Facebook group around for pulling this nonsense.

Am I the only one that's going to bring up the fact that not only did he ghost the guy for 2 years, but he was active here during that time. And I dont just mean logging on. I believe he posted and commented on stuff, may have atleast commented on stuff. People CLEARLY called him out in the threads he was active and he purposely ignored it. This post has been here for years, people have called him out on other threads, and he was contacted on multiple platforms.
